The Springbank Garden Club is a proud sponsor of the Springbank Junior Gardeners!
The Springbank Garden Club is for anyone who has a love of anything 'garden'! The Club meets 10 times a year, on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm. Our meetings are held at the Springbank United Church, North of Calaway Park, across the TransCanada Highway, on the NW corner of Township Road 250 and Range Road 33.
Being a member of the Springbank Garden Club give exclusive opportunity to share garden produce with other club members, attend guest speaker information sessions on a variety of gardening topics and also be part of pot luck socials (including a gardening gift exchange!). Being a Garden Club member also allows us to be part of the Springbank Park For All Seasons Fall Fair by providing our time and expertise during the Horticulture Show and by sharing our love of gardening with the community at our booth. Members will also have the opportunity to view garden grown by local children and participate in the perennial exchange each spring.
The membership fee is $25.00 which goes towards our guest speakers and space rental.

Springbank Garden Club had a successful house plant and perennial sale at the 2018 Fall Fair on September 8th, 2018. As well, prizes and pictures were given out to Junior Garden Club members at our booth. This program, which we proudly sponsor, delivered seeds in the spring to all participants, through the Springbank Elementary and Middle Schools. Garden Club members view the gardens in late August and take pictures. All children are welcome to join and receive seeds. There is a small fee to help with the cost of the seeds.
Our first meeting was held on September 18th with a large turn out. Information was shared about successes and problems in our gardens. Informal conversations over snacks and drinks are always an enjoyable part of our meetings.
The meetings take place at the Springbank United Church, the third Tuesday of every month, September through June at 7:30pm.
